Bank holiday Alert: A new week is going to start tomorrow from 13th July. If during this time you are thinking of going to the bank to settle any important work, then this is important news for you. Government and private sector banks in India will remain closed for four days between July 13 and 19 on the basis of state and local holidays. This holiday is not a national holiday. That is, during this period, banks will not remain closed simultaneously in the entire country, but will be implemented in different states due to state and city-wise local festivals.
Bank holidays falling next week
16 July (Thursday)- Banks will remain closed in Uttarakhand and Manipur due to Harela festival. There will be bank holidays in Odisha due to Rath Yatra.
17 July (Friday)- Banks will remain closed on this day in Meghalaya due to the death anniversary of U Tirot Singh.
18 July (Saturday)- Banks will remain closed on this day in Sikkim due to Drukpa Tshe-zi.
19 July (Sunday)- Due to weekly holiday, banks will remain closed across the country.
Government and private sector banks will remain open in most parts of the country on Monday (July 13), Tuesday (July 14) and Wednesday (July 15). Work will continue as usual. In such a situation, customers are advised that if there is any important work related to the bank branch such as cash deposit, check clearance or in-person banking, then get it done in the initial days of the week.

22 July- Banks will remain closed on this day in Tripura due to Kharchi Puja.
25 July- Banks will remain closed in India due to the fourth Saturday. This is a mandatory holiday for all scheduled and non-scheduled banks.
26th July- Banks will remain closed across the country due to weekly bank holiday.
Digital services will remain operational
Despite bank branches being closed, you can do money transactions, bill payment, balance check etc. through internet banking, mobile banking app and ATM.
