According to this, the prices of petrol and diesel may increase in the coming time because the war between America and Iran is gaining momentum again.
Iran’s counterattack on America
After America’s latest attacks on Iran, Iran also retaliated and targeted American military bases in Gulf countries. Due to this, tension in the Middle East has once again reached its peak. Iran fired a series of missiles at US military bases and its allies in Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman. After this attack, now the fears of increase in crude oil prices at the international level have started increasing.
Crude oil on the verge of touching the sky
Due to this tension between America and Iran, there may again be problems in energy shipment through the Strait of Hormuz. Since 20% of the world’s crude oil passes through this route, due to the news of the attacks, crude oil jumped by more than 3% in the international market this morning to reach $ 78.35 per barrel. If this tension continues for a long time and crude oil remains at the level of $ 80, then there will be huge pressure on the margins of government oil companies. Due to this, the prices of petrol and diesel can be increased by Rs 3-5 per liter after the prices remained stable for the last one month.
