Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan recently married Gauri Spratt for the third time, after which he is being accused of love jihad. A fatwa has also been issued against him. Now Aamir Khan has responded to the allegations in which he has been called the ‘brand ambassador of Love Jihad’. He said that his family has always embraced relationships with people of different religions and none of their marriages involved religious conversion.
Gauri, Reena or Kiran never changed religion
In fact, in an interview given to Rediff, Aamir said that his family members have done civil marriage (legal marriage) with Hindu and Christian people and emphasized that both his ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao and now his third wife Gauri Spratt have not converted.
Responding to the allegations of ‘Love Jihad’, Aamir said, “The truth is that our family is very friendly and accepting of everyone. Both my sisters are married to Hindus, my daughter is also married to a Hindu. My cousin Mansoor is married to a Christian woman.” He further said, “None of Gauri, Kiran or Reena changed their religion, because our marriages were through civil marriage (legally). Gauri is not even a Hindu, she is a Christian, and that too a Christian who does not follow religion very much. As time passes, life is getting more fun.”

Aamir Khan’s two marriages have ended
Let us tell you that Aamir first married Reena Dutta in 1986. The couple has two children, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan. Aamir and Reena got divorced in the year 2002. After this, the actor married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. They have one son Azad. In the year 2021, Aamir and Kiran also separated.
Aamir has married Gauri for the third time
Let us tell you that Aamir and Gauri have known each other for almost 25 years, but a little more than two years ago they got in touch again in Bengaluru through the actor’s cousin Nuzhat Khan. The actor had introduced Gauri to the media on the occasion of his 60th birthday in March last year. On July 5, Aamir had a registered marriage with Gauri at home in the presence of family and close friends.
