Petrol-Diesel Rate Today on July 16: Today on Thursday, the prices of petrol and diesel remain stable across the country and there has been no change in them. According to the rates released by government oil companies (OMCs) at 6 am, the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 102.12 per liter and the price of diesel is Rs 95.20 per liter. Similarly, in Ghaziabad today the price of one liter petrol is Rs 101.88 per liter and the price of diesel is Rs 95.36 per liter.

Big change in tax from today
Amidst the stable prices of petrol and diesel, the government has made a major change in the windfall tax on their exports from today. In view of the latest military attacks between America and Iran, the government has increased the tax on export of diesel from Daaz to Rs 15.5 per liter, which was earlier Rs 8.5 per liter. Similarly, on ATF (Air Turbine Fuel), ATF has been increased to Rs 14.5 per liter, which was earlier Rs 7.5 per liter. Meanwhile, giving relief to petrol, the government has reduced the duty on its export to Rs 2.5 per liter, which was earlier Rs 4 per liter.
