In such a situation, many Bollywood stars have supported him and appealed to end the hunger strike. Meanwhile, a fake post in the name of Deepika Padukone is also going viral on social media.

The first name in this list is that of actress Swara Bhaskar. Recently she reached Jantar Mantar and met Sonam Wangchuk and supported her. Alia Bhatt’s mother and actress Soni Razdan also supported Sonam Wangchuk. Expressing concern over his deteriorating health, she shared an emotional poem and appealed to him to end his hunger strike. He wrote in the caption, ‘We need you, don’t leave us.’
Zeenat Aman expressed concern
Veteran actress Zeenat Aman also supported Sonam Wangchuk and expressed concern over her deteriorating health. By sharing a long note on Instagram, he appealed to the Indian government to start talks on this issue soon. Zeenat said, ‘We should not become such a society that silently watches one of its best people in this condition.’

Shabana Azmi has also expressed her full support towards Sonam Wangchuk. He wrote on social media, ‘The country is in great need of such true voices who stand against injustice. I salute the spirit of Wangchuk. The whole country is proud of you. Actor Prakash Raj, who has outspoken opinions on social issues, also supported Sonam Wangchuk. Advocating the rights of the protesting students, he appealed to end this matter soon and pay serious attention to Wangchuk’s demands.
Deepika Padukone’s fake post goes viral
Apart from this, celebs like Rubina Dilaik, Sonakshi Sinha, Abhay Deol, Omi Vaidya, Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah and Imran Khan have also supported Sonam Wangchuk. Meanwhile, a screenshot of an alleged Instagram story in the name of Deepika Padukone is becoming increasingly viral on social media. It is being claimed that the actress had shared this post in support of Sonam Wangchuk and later deleted it.

However, this claim is completely wrong. Deepika Padukone has not posted any such story from her official Instagram account. This post is not present on any of his verified social media accounts. That means this screenshot going viral is completely fake.

As soon as this fake screenshot went viral, Deepika’s fans pounced on the trollers. One user wrote, ‘This screenshot is 100% fake, Deepika never posted anything like this.’ Expressing anger, another user wrote, ‘How deep is your hatred? Shame, she is pregnant. At the same time, a third user commented, ‘Creating such false stories to spread hatred against Deepika in the last trimester of pregnancy is a very bad thing.’
