The fourth season of UP T20 League will start from August 14. The first match of the tournament will be played between Kashi Rudras and current champion Meerut Mavericks at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. This tournament will run for 24 days and its final match will be held on 6th September in Kanpur. For the first time in the history of the league, this league will be played in two cities. The initial phase of the tournament will be held in Lucknow, where 22 matches will be played in 13 days at the Ekana Cricket Stadium. After this, the second part of the tournament will be held at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, where the remaining 12 matches will be played.
Speaking on the announcement of the schedule, UP T20 League Governing Council Chairman Sanjay Kapoor said, “The UP T20 League is growing with every season, and this year will mark a big milestone as the tournament will be played across two venues for the first time. The opening leg will be held in Lucknow followed by the second leg and playoff matches in Kanpur.”
The opening ceremony and the first match of the season will be held in Lucknow, while Kanpur will host the closing ceremony and the final. Knockout stage matches will also be played in Kanpur only. Qualifier 1 and Eliminator matches will be played on 3 September. The second qualifier of the tournament will be held on September 4. The final of UP T20 League Season 4 will be played on 6 September.
The start of UP T20 League 2026 is expected to be exciting. Many matches will be played in the first weekend, in which on August 15, Noida Kings will face Kanpur Superstars and Lucknow Falcons will face Gaur Gorakhpur Lions. On August 16, Kashi Rudras will face Kanpur Superstars. Meanwhile, in the second match of the day, Meerut Mavericks will face Gaur Gorakhpur Lions. Noida Kings and Lucknow Falcons will face each other on August 17. After this, on August 18, Kashi Rudras team will compete against Gaur Gorakhpur Lions.
Fans will get to see another exciting match on August 19, where Lucknow Falcons will face Mavericks. There will be two matches (double-header) on 20 August; In the afternoon, Gaur Gorakhpur Lions will face Noida Kings and in the evening, Kanpur Superstars will face Kashi Rudras. The Kanpur leg will start on August 28 with the match between Kashi Rudras and Noida Kings.
