Success Story: Sometimes a delay of just 10 seconds had ruined the dream of wearing a police uniform. But instead of accepting defeat, 23-year-old Anjali, a resident of Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, turned that failure into her strength. On the basis of continuous hard work, patience and self-confidence, he has now fulfilled his dream by passing the UP Police Sub Inspector Recruitment Examination. His success today has become an inspiration not only for the family but for the entire village and those youth who lose courage after any failure.
Constable recruitment was missed because of 10 seconds
Anjali, a resident of Khutehana village of Sursa police station area of Hardoi district, had given the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination in the year 2024. After the written examination, she reached the physical efficiency test, but was out of selection in the 2400 meter race due to being just 10 seconds behind the scheduled time. Having her dream broken by such a short distance could have been a big blow for any candidate, but Anjali did not let it be the end of her goal.
Anjali is from a farmer family
Anjali comes from an ordinary farmer family, her father Ramamurthy is a small farmer and due to limited land, he supports the family by farming on lease. There are two sons and two daughters in the family and Anjali is the eldest child. Anjali and her father had a dream to join the police service. Keeping this goal in mind, he continued preparing for competitive exams along with studies and also fulfilled the responsibilities of the family.
Didn’t stop preparation after failure
Anjali was preparing for police recruitment from Manthan Coaching Institute located in Housing Development area of Hardoi city. He told that after failing in constable recruitment, he did not let himself get discouraged and started preparing for UP Police Sub Inspector recruitment exam with full dedication. His hard work finally paid off and he succeeded in the UP Police SI recruitment examination.

Gave credit for success to family and teachers
Anjali gives credit for her success to her parents, brother and teachers of the coaching institute. He says that during difficult times, his family and teachers constantly encouraged him, so that he could remain focused on his goal. Anjali believes that if the goal is clear and hard work is done honestly, then success is definitely achieved.
She remained first in studies also
Anjali’s educational record has also been good, she scored 71 percent marks in high school in 2018 and 73 percent marks in intermediate in 2020. He passed both the examinations from Dayanand Inter College, Sursa, Hardoi. After this, she completed her BA from R Kanya Degree College, Hardoi city and then started completely preparing for police recruitment.
