The third ODI to be held at Lord’s Cricket Ground is the deciding match of the India vs England series. The series is currently tied at 1-1. The injury to Washington Sundar, who scored a half-century in the first match, has increased the tension.
Washington Sundar was seen struggling with injury in the second ODI also, he did not even bowl. The team also suffered losses due to this. Already many all-rounders of India are injured, now Washington’s injury has increased the concern. According to the report, Washington may be out of the third and decisive ODI.
India’s two leading all-rounders, Hardik Pandya and Nitish Kumar Reddy, are injured. Hardik was injured in IPL 2026, while Nitish was injured in training during the series against Afghanistan. He was out of the England tour due to injury.
