Dhamaal 4 vs The Oddsey: Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Dhamaal 4’ was seen earning well at the box office till now. The film sidelined Alia Bhatt’s film ‘Alpha’ with its release. However, after a week now Dhamaal 4 is facing difficulties. That too, not from any Bollywood film, but from a Hollywood film. The film ‘The Odyssey’, released on July 17, is trying to eclipse the earnings of Dhamaal 4.
Difficult to earn even Rs 2 crore
Ajay Devgan’s multi-starrer comedy film Dhamaal 4 had a great start at the box office. The film continued to earn handsomely, but with the arrival of Hollywood film The Odyssey, the path ahead has become difficult for Dhamaal 4. On its very first day, this film seems to be proving to be a big threat to Ajay Devgan’s film.

While The Odissi has its first day in theaters on July 17, Dhamaal 4 has its eighth day in theaters on July 17 (Friday). It has become difficult for the film to earn even Rs 2 crore by 6 pm. According to the report of Saknilk, Dhamaal 4 has done a business of only Rs 1.82 crore till 5.55 pm on the eighth day on Friday.
The odyssey is moving towards a big opening
On the other hand, if we talk about The Odyssey, this film made under the direction of Christopher Nolan seems to be taking a good opening in India. The film has shown momentum at the Indian box office since day one. According to the report of Saknilk, it has earned Rs 6.66 crore till 5.55 pm on the opening day. This means that Ajay’s film is not able to earn even half as compared to The Odyssey.

Dhamaal 4 eyes Rs 100 crores
Dhamaal 4 had collected more than Rs 14 crore on the first day. On the second day, it had earned a strong earning of Rs 22.5 crore in India and on the third day it had earned Rs 28.50 crore. With the earning of Rs 1.82 crore till 5.55 pm on the eighth day, the total Indian box office collection of the film has now reached Rs 97.82 crore. It is expected that today Dhamaal 4 will cross the Rs 100 crore mark in India.
