At the same time, Kajal Aggarwal also supported Deepika and said that there is nothing wrong in demanding to work for a fixed 8 hours a day. This should not be seen as an artist’s tantrum. Actress Saba Azad also supported Deepika’s demand and said that women should get both their rights and respect on the sets. Limiting working hours is part of fundamental rights.

What is the whole matter?
Let us tell you that last year there were reports that Deepika Padukone had left director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film ‘Spirit’ because she did not want to work more than 8 hours and that too on her own terms. He was also sidelined from the film ‘Kalki 2’. Since then, there has been a debate on the 8-hour shift in social media and Bollywood circles.
