Let us know that on 5 August 2019, the Modi government had removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Along with this, by dividing Jammu and Kashmir as two parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, both of them declared both as union territories. In the recent few years, there is a demand for giving full state status to Jammu and Kashmir.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on several occasions that full state status will be given at the right time.
