A Category- Those seats where BJP has been winning in the last 3 elections.
B Category- Where the party won by a small margin
C Category- Where the party is losing by less margin for 2 consecutive times.
D Category- These are those seats which are the traditional strongholds of SP-Congress.
Special focus in BJP’s mission is also on those 61 seats, where the party could not register victory even once in the last three assembly elections 2012, 2017 and 2022. Here booth feedback, caste equation, beneficiary contact and survey of potential candidates, everything will be done afresh. Amit Shah has been the Chanakya of victory in Uttar Pradesh in the last two elections, due to which BJP leaders have full hope of the third victory also.
Big brainstorming begins in BJP
A big churning has started in BJP regarding the ticket also. According to sources, the complete election records of leaders who have contested three or more elections are being scrutinized. Last time by how many votes did you win or lose, what was the difference between victory and defeat, how was your performance at your booth and how much hold you have in the organization. This means that now merely being a big or experienced face of the party does not guarantee a ticket. If the chances of winning become weak then the ticket may be cut short.

In UP, BJP is preparing to score a hat-trick in 2027 because returning to power in UP paves the way for Lok Sabha elections in 2029.
