This method is not right at all.”

He further said, “Many opposition leaders went to that stage and met Sonam and supported her, but on Saturday morning the police forcibly detained her and admitted her to the hospital. After Sonam Wangchuk was shifted to the hospital, he said that this issue is not over. The movement will continue further.

What did Sharad Pawar say on farmers’ loan waiver?

On the issue of farmers’ loan waiver, NCP SP chief Sharad Pawar said, “The government has given a new date. The state government should have followed the deadline announced earlier. Now that the government has given a new deadline, we will wait till then. Freeing farmers from loans is our top priority. If the government implements the loan waiver, we will have no complaints. However, if it fails to do so, we will launch a statewide agitation.”
