Bihar JEE NEET Free Coaching: Bihar government has taken a big step towards making the preparation for engineering and medical entrance examinations easier for students studying in government schools. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has started Bihar School Live Classes and free coaching program of JEE NEET in 10 model schools of Patna.
In the first phase, students will get the facility of live classes, digital study material, expert faculty and smart class rooms. The government’s target is to make this scheme reach all the 150 model schools of the state in the coming time, so that students of government schools can also prepare better for competitive examinations without any fees.

In the first phase of the scheme, 10 model schools of Patna have been connected to the live teaching system. According to Bihar School Examination Board, 266 students have registered for JEE exam preparation and 252 students have registered for NEET. The government says that after the initial phase, this facility will be expanded to all the 155 model schools of the state.
Which students will get the benefit of the scheme?
This scheme has currently been started for government school students studying in model schools of Bihar. In the initial phase, only students of selected 10 model schools of Patna have been included in it. Later, students of model schools of other districts will also be able to take advantage of this scheme. The objective of the government is to provide quality education coaching to the economically weak and meritorious students studying in government schools, so that they do not have to depend on private coaching centers.
What facilities will the students get?
Under this program, students will be prepared for competitive examinations without any fees. For this, classes by experienced teachers, quality study material, regular doubt clearing sessions, mobile app based interactive learning and evaluation exams will be conducted every 15 days. Apart from this, air conditioners, smart classrooms, digital boards and technology based teaching system will also be available for studies. Subject experts will be appointed for Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology in every model school. Currently, a total of 40 teachers have been deployed in 10 schools under the pilot project. During this program, the Education Department also signed MoUs with seven voluntary organizations.

Coaching will continue even after schools
The government has fixed the timing of coaching in such a way that the regular studies of the students are not affected. In such a situation, coaching classes will be conducted for girl students till 6:00 pm and for boys till 7:00 pm. With this, students will be able to prepare for competitive exams like JEE and NEET along with school studies.
How to apply?
At present the government has not announced any separate online application process. The first phase of the scheme has been started only in 10 selected model schools of Patna. As the scheme expands to other model schools, the process of registration and selection of eligible students will be released by the respective schools and Bihar School Examination Committee. Students studying in this model school will have to keep an eye on the official information of BSEB in their school.
