Pahalgam terrorist attack: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah said on Monday (April 28, 2025) that Kashmiris threw the two nation theory in water in 1947 and said that their area would not go with Pakistan. He said that he (terrorist) considers that we will go with Pakistan, they think wrong.

He said, “We (Pakistan) want to remove the misconceptions that we will go to Pakistan with these antics. When we did not go with him in 1947, why will we go today? We are not ready to accept the two nation theory today. We are not ready to accept today. We are not weaker but strong. Such action wants to never have such attacks again. “

What did Farooq Abdullah say on two nation theory?

He said, “We regret that our neighbor is still not able to understand that he has killed humanity. We had thrown the two nation theory in water in 1947. Today we are not ready to accept two nation theory. Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, we are all one. We will give them a befitting reply.”

What did Pak Army Chief Aseem Munir say on two nation theory

Farooq Abdullah’s remarks came after the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam in which 26 people, including 25 Indians, were killed. The attack took place a few days after the two nation theory was raised by Pakistan’s Army Chief General Aseem Munir. Addressing a conference of migrant Pakistanis in Islamabad on 16 April 2025, General Munir said that Pakistan will stand with Kashmiri people in a struggle against Indian occupation.

He cited Jinnah’s Two Nation Theory, saying, “You will have to tell your children the story of Pakistan, so that they do not forget that our ancestors considered us different from Hindus in every possible aspect of life.”
