Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has invited applications to fill 26 vacant posts in Himachal Pradesh Finance and Accounts Service. Who can apply?
This recruitment is a little different from direct recruitment. This is mainly for those people who are already doing government jobs in Himachal Pradesh. According to the Commission, the following conditions must be fulfilled to apply.
- currently employed: The applicant must be an employee in any department, board, corporation, autonomous institution, university or co-operative bank of Himachal Pradesh State Government.
- Educational qualification: The candidate should have graduation degree from any recognized university.
- Experience: The candidate must have at least 3 years of regular service experience in his/her current job.
How many seats for which category?
The Commission has issued recruitment for a total of 26 posts. Seats have been fixed for each category according to reservation.

What will be the selection process?
Eligible candidates for these 26 posts will be selected through a transparent process.
- preliminary examination: First of all the candidates will have to appear in the preliminary examination. This is a kind of screening test, in which only the candidates who pass will go to the next stage.
- Main Exam: Those who pass the preliminary examination will have to appear in the main examination. This examination is more detailed and merit is made on its basis.
- Pre-Induction Training: Selected candidates who pass the main examination will not be sent directly to work. They will first be given ‘pre-induction training’ to teach them the nuances of the work. Only after completing this training they will be inducted into the service permanently.

- Click on the link of ‘Apply Online’ or ‘Online Application’ there.
- If you are new to the website then register yourself first. If you already have an account, login.
- Select the ‘Finance & Accounts Service’ recruitment advertisement and click on ‘Apply’.
- Fill all your information (name, address, educational qualification, job experience) correctly in the form.
- Scan and upload the required documents (degree, experience certificate, photo, signature etc.).
- Pay the examination fees online as per your category.
- Finally submit the form and take a printout of it and keep it with you.
