Talking to Republic World, Hema said, ‘I feel uncomfortable talking about this. But I am very grateful that God gave me such a good partner, whose memories I will be able to keep with me throughout my life. No one can replace him. He has been a strong pillar in my life and career.

Hema further said, ‘Dharmendra never stopped me from working after marriage. He never told me to sit at home. He knew that I was an artist, a dancer. He saw my growth. He always encouraged me to work in films and dance. He always said that you should keep doing this. Don’t stop anything.
Daughters are in pain due to father’s departure – Hema Malini
Talking about her daughters, Hema said, ‘Sometimes I feel very sad when I see my daughters. My daughters are in a lot of pain due to father’s absence. No one can fill that void.
