A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, where a 10-year-old class four student committed suicide by hanging herself after being upset over the allegation of theft of ₹ 10. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
In this case, the police has now started taking further action on the complaint of the victim’s family. The case pertains to Aayushi, a 10-year-old class four student of primary school located in Pachenda Kala village of New Mandi Kotwali area, who committed suicide by hanging herself in her house on Wednesday (July 22).
The deceased student was accused of stealing Rs 10 from the teacher’s garden.
It is alleged that school teacher Savita had accused the deceased student of stealing ₹ 10 from her bag. It is being told that the teacher had complained about this to the school teacher Rajiv. After which teacher Rajeev had beaten the student in the school. It is also alleged that the student, who had returned home after school, was upset by this incident and committed suicide by hanging herself. On receiving this information, the police took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem, but now the police have started taking further action in this matter on the complaint of the victim’s family.

Other children and local people say that the student was beaten up
Ashok Rajput, father of the deceased student, alleged that the teacher in the school accused his daughter of stealing ₹10 and beat her badly. He told that when he was called to the school by phone, he told that he was out of the city and would come the next day. Later his daughter told that she had found ₹10 lying under the table, she had not stolen it.
Ashok Rajput claims that when he reached school at around 2 pm, his daughter was found hanging. Other children and local people also told them that the student was beaten up. He demanded an impartial investigation into the entire matter and strict action against the culprits, saying he wanted justice for his daughter.
Amid CJP’s protest, Mayawati bluntly gave a big political message to Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi.
