According to the bank holiday rules of RBI, banks across the country remain closed on the second and fourth Saturday of every month. Since today 25th July is the fourth Saturday, there will be a holiday in all bank branches. After this, banks will remain closed on 26th July as it is Sunday. Apart from this, there is no separate bank holiday for any state between July 27 and August 1.

Will online banking services continue?
Even if bank branches remain closed, digital banking services will continue. Customers can do internet banking, mobile banking, cash withdrawal from ATM, NEFT and IMPS and balance check and fund transfer to make payments through UPI. However, the work done by visiting the branch like cash deposit, check clearance, demand draft or passbook update will be done on the next working day only.

When will be the next banking working day?
Due to today being fourth Saturday and tomorrow being Sunday, banks will remain closed for two consecutive days. In such a situation, bank branches in most of the states will reopen on Monday, July 27, 2026.
