The match played between Yorkshire and Glamorgan in the England One Day Cup was full of thrill. When Yorkshire seemed to be in trouble, Finley Bean, who came to bat at number seven, showed excellent composure. He played an important inning of 43 unbeaten runs under pressure and took the team to the threshold of victory. Bean batted according to the situation and avoided playing risky shots and remained at the crease till the end.

Yorkshire registered a thrilling victory
Yorkshire achieved the target of 187 runs by losing 8 wickets in 48.4 overs and won the match by two wickets. This victory once again showed that no target is easy in cricket. If the opening batsmen are out early then chasing even a small score can become difficult. Finlay Bean’s match-winning innings proved that playing with patience and intelligence under pressure is the biggest strength of any team.
