On Saturday, July 25, Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from the post of Education Minister. On this, BCCI Vice President Rajiv has said that he welcomes the decision of resignation by the Education Minister. He called it a victory for the unity of India’s students, youth and opposition. Rajeev Shukla is a Rajya Sabha MP from Congress party from Chhattisgarh state.

After the NEET paper leak issue, CJP was protesting at Jantar Mantar for the last 36 days. There was a continuous demand for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Finally on Saturday Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from his post.

BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla wrote on social media, “I welcome the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. This is a victory for the unity of India’s youth, students and opposition.”

Expecting strict decisions from the government

Rajeev Shukla further said in his statement that he expects the government to take such strict decisions so that no paper can be leaked in future. He said, “There is a great need for comprehensive reforms in the field of education. Our youth and students are the future of this country. We should listen to them.”

BCCI Vice President had earlier also issued a statement on this subject. Before resigning, Shukla had accused the government of running away from this issue, whereas the opposition has been saying the same thing since the beginning that Dharmendra Pradhan should resign.
