Sanjay Dutt was born on 29 July 1959 in Mumbai to veteran actress Nargis and veteran actor Sunil Dutt. He has turned 67 today. Sanjay, popularly known as ‘Sanju Baba’, started his career as a lead actor with the 1981 film ‘Rocky’. This film was released on 6 May 1981. However, Sanjay’s mother Nargas could not see his first film. Nargis died on 3 May 1981, just 3 days before its release.

Sanju Baba then married Rhea Pillai for the second time in the year 1998. However, after about a decade this relationship also broke. Sanjay and Rhea ended their ten-year relationship with divorce in 2008.
Sanjay Dutt got married for the third time in the year 2008 to Manyata Dutt, who is Muslim by religion. His real name is Dilnawaz Shaikh. Sanjay and Manyata are now parents of twins, son Shahraan Dutt and daughter Iqra Dutt.
Sanjay’s biopic had earned Rs 588 crore
A film has also been made on the life of Sanjay Dutt. In the year 2018, his biopic ‘Sanju’ was released which turned out to be a blockbuster. His character was played by Ranbir Kapoor in this 8 year old film. According to the report of SACNILC, its budget was Rs 100 crore and it had earned Rs 588 crore worldwide.
