What did Babar Azam say?
Talking about the pitch, Babar said, “The pitch was good. We expected movement with the new ball because it is normal here and we were prepared for it. But I think they took advantage of the conditions and bowled very well. On the fourth day, the ball was a little low and had uneven bounce. We could not build a partnership and that is where we lost.”
How was Babar Azam’s performance with the bat?
In the first test against West Indies, Babar could not do much with the bat. He flopped in the first innings. He scored only 23 runs with the help of 3 fours. But he made a fifty in the second innings. Babar scored 58 runs by hitting 9 fours. However, apart from Babar, no other batsman of Pakistan could cross the 25-run mark in the second innings. A total of 8 batsmen of the team could not even cross the double digit score, that is, they could not score in double digits.
