Traveling in AC buses of Uttar Pradesh Roadways has become expensive. In this way, with the onset of summer, passengers will have to bear the burden on the pocket. UP Transport Corporation has increased the fares of AC buses by 10 percent. The new rates will be applicable from May 1, that is, if so far passengers used to pay Rs 100 for an AC bus, then now they have to pay Rs 110 for the same distance.
The Transport Corporation has done this increase in view of the operational cost and fuel inflation. The increased fare will be applicable to all AC buses like Janrath, Shatabdi, Scania and Volvo.
