At 5:30 in the morning, a wall collapsed due to strong wind in Paravat village of Chawla police station area. Omprakash, Love and Saurabh were injured from this wall, which fell on a nearby house.

All three were taken from Cat Ambulance to Rao Tula Ram Hospital in Jafarpur. DCP Dwarka Ankit Singh said that all are out of danger. The accident took place near the Prahlad temple, where the neighbor’s wall broke and fell to the house.

The Meteorological Department had already warned that strong wind and rain would come. From 12 noon to 9:30 in the morning, the fire control room received 98 complaints of falling trees.

Director Atul Garg told that the maximum 71 calls came between 5 and 9 am. Dozens of vehicles were damaged due to falling trees in Dwarka’s society and South Delhi.

The General Secretary of Vikas Kunj apartment of Dwarka said that many vehicles were buried under trees in his society. The same situation happened in Sector 8 and other areas.

The rain immersed areas like Deoli Road, Saket Road, Mehrauli-Badarpur Road in South Delhi and Nagli Bihar in Najafgarh.

The streets were flooded with their knees, causing people to get stuck in the jam and upset. On one side the weather became pleasant, on the other hand waterlogging created trouble.

People said that this rain was not very big, yet Delhi came to a standstill. Strong winds uprooted trees, the old walls collapsed and the roads drowned. People are raising questions whether the government did not prepare in advance?
