Trump has imposed 100 percent tariff on films made out of America. This can directly affect Hollywood. Trump gave information about this by sharing the post on social media.
A post has been shared by Trump on the social platform Truth. It wrote, “The movie industry in America is ending very fast. Other countries are offering various incentive plans to remove our filmmakers and studios from the US. Hollywood and many other areas of America are being destroyed. This is a planned effort of other countries and hence it is also a threat to national security. ”
100 percent tariff on films made out of US
Trump wrote about the tariff, “I authorize the Department of Commerce and the US Trade Representative to start the process immediately to put 100% tariff on all the films that are made abroad and in our country. We want movies to be made again in America! ‘
Tariff will have a big impact on Hollywood
Trump’s 100 percent tariff decision is going to have a direct impact on Hollywood. Hollywood films may now have to bear more expenses. Trump believes that America is suffering losses due to films being made out.
