Pakistan Fear: After the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April 2025, Pakistan has been afraid of India’s attack. The fear in the neighboring country is so much over that it is saying the same thing again and again that India can attack anytime. In the latest development, Defense Minister Khwaja Asif has said that India can do military strike on LoC at any time.
Talking to reporters in Islamabad, Khwaja Asif said, “There are reports that India can attack LoC on any point. Pakistan will give a befitting reply.” Asif also said that Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has demanded an international inquiry into the Pahalgam attack.
India’s fear in Pakistan
He said, “Such an investigation will reveal that India itself or any internal group was involved in it and the truth behind the baseless allegations of New Delhi will come out.” This is not the first time that Pakistan’s minister has said that military action can be taken by India after the Pahalgam attack. The country’s Information Minister Atta Tarar said last week that 24-36 hours are important due to the possibility of India’s possible attack. However, time passed and no such action was initiated.
Tension between India and Pakistan continues after the Pahalgam attack
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Army Chief General Syed Aseem Munir reiterated on Monday (May 05, 2025) to reply to the country’s reputation and his people with full force to protect the prosperity. On 22 April, 26 people were killed in the Pahalgam attack, including 25 tourists. After this, tension between India and Pakistan continues. In India, the demand to give a befitting reply to Pakistan is continuously arising. Amidst all this, the Ministry of Home Affairs in India has written a letter to all the states and ordered a mock drill on May 7, 2025.
