Maharashtra Government Mulling Policy: Governments of the country and different states are taking new steps to reduce pollution. In such a situation, electric vehicle is being promoted, while new rules are being made regarding health on ICE vehicle. In this episode, now the Maharashtra government has prepared to take strict action on the vehicle that spreads pollution. The Transport Minister here says that the faulty and air pollution -causing vehicles will no longer be given fuel at petrol pumps.

Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik discussed the matter during the review meeting. He said that the owners of many vehicles are either making pollution control certificates (PUC) or are using fake certificates. In such a situation, air pollution is spreading rapidly. With this, the air quality index of the state is also constantly falling.

Which vehicles will not get fuel?

The Transport Minister says that strict action will be taken by the government on these vehicles and will be prevented from taking fuel at the petrol pump. With this, the government is now planning to start a new pollution certificate. The validity of the certificate of trains at every petrol pump can be checked immediately.

Hope to improve air quality

Along with this, those who do not have legitimate PUC will not be given fuel. According to the minister, in the coming time, stringent rules like NO PUC, No Fuel will be implemented, so that technically poor vehicles can be stopped. Its direct advantage will be that air quality can improve. Pratap Sarnaik says that it is the responsibility of all of us to protect the environment and we have to take such steps, so that the coming generations can get clean air.
