Reliance Jio has quietly removed the free access of JioCinema from its prepaid recharge plans. Now the subscription of JioCinema will not be available with any plan. This change has been made due to JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar’s Jiohotstar launch after merger. Jio has removed JioCinema from the benefit list in all prepaid recharge plans ranging from Rs 249 to Rs 3,599 from its website. Now Jio users are being given access to JioTV and JioCloud for free only. However, a few select plans are still getting free subscription of Jiohotstar.

JioCinema is no longer a separate streaming platform, but it has merged with disney+ hotstar to become jiohotstar. Jiohotstar’s add-ported plan starts at Rs 149 per month, in which mobile streaming is available in 720p quality. At the same time, the subscription of Jiohotstar Premium is available in Rs 299 per month and Rs 1,499 per year.

Jio is still giving subscription free of Jiohotstar in a few select plans:
Rs. 195 Cricket Pack-28 days validity, 15GB high-speed data. This is only data pack.
Rs. 949 Plan – 90 days validity, unlimited calling, 2GB data per day, 100 SMS per day.

Jio is still giving access free of some other OTT platforms in its entertainment packs. These include Amazon Prime Video, Fancode, Jiosaavn Pro, Netflix, and Zee5-Sonyliv Combo.
