Speaking to Hindustan Times, Riddhi Dogra has said that people had made threats and messages to him. The actress said that I had spoken for my country, and suddenly people started calling me bad because of working with Fawad Khan. He said, ‘I am firm, do not threaten me, I am also the same citizen of this country as you are people’.

On April 22, the actress reacts to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, saying, ‘All this was very scared, I was constantly contacting my family in Jammu and my relatives in Amritsar. Bollywood actress Vani Kapoor and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s film Abir-Gulal has received a big blow from Bharat. The trailer of the film was released on 1 April. The film was to be released in theaters on 9 May. The film was shot in London.
