Us impose ban over Indian travel agency: Taking a major step on Monday (May 19), the US has announced a visa ban on owners, officials and senior management of travel agencies working in India. This ban will apply to those who have been found to promote illegal immigration and human trafficking in the US. The US State Department said in an official statement, “Our immigration policy is not just to warn potential migrants from danger, but to eliminate the network that sponsors and operate this process.”
Consular and diplomatic security services officers appointed at the US Embassy and Consulate in India were long monitoring illegal immigration and human trafficking activities. Now it has been clear under his supervision that some travel agencies in India are deliberately promoting illegal stay in the US through false documents, illegal advice, and visa fraud.
