PM Modi Bikaner Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Rajasthan today (Thursday, May 22). He will go to Bikaner and will visit Karni Mata Temple in Deshnok at around 11.00 am.
Apart from this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the rebelled Deshnok station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at around 11:30 am and will flag off the Bikaner-Mumbai Express train. Subsequently, the Prime Minister will dedicate and inaugurating several development projects costing more than Rs 26,000 crore and will also address a public function in Palana.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate 103 rebellious nectar stations in 86 districts of 18 states and union territories at a cost of more than Rs 1,100 crore in 86 districts of 18 states and union territories at a cost of more than Rs 1,100 crore. Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, more than 1,300 stations are being redeveloped with modern facilities, designed to reflect regional architecture and increase passenger features.
Deshnok railway station, which serves pilgrims and tourists visiting the Karni Mata temple, is inspired by temple architecture, arches and column theme. Begumpet railway station in Telangana is inspired by the architecture of the Kakatiya Empire. The Thave station in Bihar includes various murals and artifacts representing Maa Thawewali, one of the 52 Shaktipeeths and Madhubani painting is also depicted.
Dakor station of Gujarat is inspired by Ranchodarai Ji Maharaj. The rebellious nectar stations across the country have been integrated to improve modern infrastructure with cultural heritage, passenger-focused features for disabled and to improve travel experience.
Indian Railways is moving towards 100 percent electrification of its network, making railway operations more efficient and environmentally friendly. In this sequence, Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of Churu-Sadulpur railway line (58 km) and Suratgarh-Phalodi (336 km); Phulera-Dgana (109 km); Udaipur-Himtnagar (210 km); Phalodi-Jaisalmer (157 km) and Samdari-Badmer (129 km) will dedicate the railway line to the nation.
To promote road infrastructure in Rajasthan, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for construction of 3 vehicles underpasses, widening and strengthening of national highways. He will also dedicate 7 road projects in Rajasthan. These road projects costing more than Rs 4850 crore will provide the facility of goods and smooth movement of people. The highways are spread to the Indo-Pak border, which enhance ease of movement for security forces and strengthen India’s defense infrastructure.
Taking forward the vision of providing electricity and green and clean energy to all, the foundation of power projects and solar projects in Prime Minister Bikaner and Nava, Didwana, Kuchaman will lay the foundation for power projects and Part B Powergrid Sirohi Transmission Limited and Part E Powergrid Mewar Transmission Limited. They will also inaugurate power projects including solar project in Bikaner, transmission system for withdrawal from Powergrid Neemuch and Bikaner campus, expansion of change capacity at Fatehgarh-Power Station, which will provide clean energy and reduce carbon emissions.
The Prime Minister will dedicate and inaugurated 25 important projects of the state government in Rajasthan to increase infrastructure, connectivity, power supply, health services and water availability and dedication to the nation to increase the availability of water. These include the foundation stone of projects and dedication of projects for upgradation and maintenance of 12 state highways of more than 750 km in length costing more than Rs 3,240 crore. It also includes additional 900 km of new highways.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate power projects in Bikaner and Udaipur. He will also inaugurate nursing colleges in Rajsamand, Pratapgarh, Bhilwara, Dholpur, which will play an important role in increasing the health infrastructure in the state. They will dedicate the foundation stone and dedication of various water infrastructure projects in the area including Rural Water Supply and Fluorosis Shaman Project in Jhunjhunu district, reorganization of urban water supply schemes in 7 cities of Pali district under Amrit 2.0.
