Reliance Industries is going to double its investment in North East. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, while announcing this during the program organized at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, said that the target has been set to increase investment in the northeastern states to 75 thousand crores. Right now the company has an investment of about 30 thousand crores in these states. That is, in the next five years, Reliance is going to invest about 45 thousand crore rupees in these states.
Mukesh Ambani started his talk while congratulating Prime Minister Modi and the country on Operation Sindoor, who was successful due to unmatched bravery of the armed forces. Ambani said that this proposed investment will create more than 25 lakh direct and indirect employment opportunities. Mukesh Ambani also expressed his commitment to set up 350 biogas plants in the states.

Referring to Jio, Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance Jio’s 5G network has reached about 90 percent of the northeastern states. 50 lakh people are connected to the Jio 5G network and this year this number will double.
To increase the income of farmers, Reliance Retail will encourage direct purchases from them. Praising the Prime Minister, Mukesh Ambani said that your efforts have emerged from the northeastern marginalized to India’s development map.
25 lakh new jobs will be born
Highlighting the work of Reliance Foundation in the field of health, he said that Reliance Foundation has established a 150 -bed cancer hospital in Manipur. Along with this, Foundation is collaborating with Mizoram University for the care of breast cancer using genomic data.
The Foundation in Guwahati has created an advanced melikular diagnostic and research laboratory. It will be equipped with the largest genome sequence capabilities in India.
