Delhi budget 2025 live updates: BJP’s Rekha Gupta government, which returned to power in Delhi after 27 years, will present its first budget on Tuesday (March 25). BJP leaders claimed that this budget will get a glimpse of the resolution letter. The party also said that a picture will be seen about how the problems of common people are resolved.
The previous government of the Aam Aadmi Party had presented a budget of 76 thousand crores, it is believed that the new government of Delhi can present a budget of 80 thousand crores.
In its first budget, the Delhi government can announce schemes regarding the problem of women, farmers related schemes, Yamuna cleaning, pollution, water, education, health, road and waterlogging.
BJP leaders said, “This budget is not limited to the session only. Even during the election, the party had consulted every section of what should happen in the resolution letter. We feel that this budget will touch every section of Delhi. We hope it will be good for everyone. According to BJP, this budget will bring positive changes for the people of Delhi.
Earlier on Monday (March 24), the budget session started with the sweetness of Kheer. Minister Pravesh Verma fed Kheer by hand to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. At the same time, the Chief Minister made this special occasion memorable by serving Kheer to Pravesh Verma and other members of the cabinet.
During this, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, “The people of Delhi shared their views by sending around 3500 emails and 6000 messages through WhatsApp and other means.” Describing it as a budget of ‘double engine government’, CM said that the Delhi government will now work with the Center.
On the first day of the budget session, people from different classes attended. All the people like lawyers, students, women, Sikh community and auto drivers were seen eating kheer. CM called it the budget of the general public of Delhi and said that this is the beginning of the dream of developed Delhi. He greeted his entire team and called this opportunity historic.
