Shehzad poonawalla slams jairam ramesh: The BJP is involved on the statement of Congress MP Jairam Ramesh regarding Pahalgam terror attack and all -party delegation. He said, ‘Our MPs are roaming and terrorists are also roaming’. Regarding this, BJP spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala said that this is the most embarrassing, condemnable and baseless statement.
In a conversation with news agency ANI, on Thursday (May 29, 2025), Poonawala said that the privilege committee of Parliament should take cognizance of it immediately and take action. Our MPs are visiting allies to expose Pakistan and Jairam Ramesh compared them to terrorists.
‘This is the same party that called the army chief a goon’
Taking a dig at the Congress, the BJP spokesperson said that this is the same party that called the army chief a goon. These are the same people who sought evidence of Balakot air strike. He has repeatedly insulted the army. After questioning the military strike, they are now questioning the diplomatic strike.
He said that first he surrounded his own MP Shashi Tharoor and now this comment against his associate MPs is condemnable. Pakistan also wants the same. Pakistan uses such statements to give itself a clean chit. Jairam Ramesh is speaking the language of Pakistan’s DG-ISPR.
What did Jairam Ramesh say?
Congress MP Jairam Ramesh said in a conversation with ANI that it is being heard that special session can be called on 25 and 26 June, as it is the 50th anniversary of the Emergency whereas in our country the undisclosed Emergency has been applicable since 2014. He further said that for what happened 50 years ago, they want to call these special sessions? They are talking about this to divert attention from today’s questions. We will also highlight the role of RSS.
He further said that we will put the reality in front of the whole country. These terrorists of Pahalgam were involved in four attacks and yet they are roaming around. Our MPs are roaming and terrorists are also roaming. We are asking these questions seriously. They do not answer these questions.
