Chhattisgarh cabinet meeting: An important cabinet meeting was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. In the cabinet meeting held in the ministry, 9 proposals were approved, including administrative reforms, sports and tourism related and decisions. Along with this, Vishnudev Sai Cabinet has also approved the 2025 transferred policy.
The proposal to change the names of many places has also been approved in the Chhattisgarh cabinet meeting. In this, it was decided to change the name of Gram Panchayat Damakheda to Kabir Dharmnagar Damakheda. At the same time, the new home-station policy in tribal areas in the cabinet has also been approved.
Will be able to apply under new transfer policy
The cabinet also approved the 2025 transferred policy, ending the 3 -year long wait of the officers of Chhattisgarh. Under the new transfer policy, employees of Chhattisgarh can apply from June 6 to June 13. After this, the approval of the minister in -charge will be received from 14 June to 25 June. At the same time, after the approval of the departmental minister at the state level, they will be transferred.
A minimum service of 2 years will be required for transfer. Along with this, special discounts will be given in transfer if there is 1 year left of serious illness, disability and retirement. Also, the government will have a special focus in filling vacant posts in Naxal -affected districts like Sukma, Bijapur and Narayanpur.
Accession on Affordable Public Housing Rules 2025
Vishnu Dev Sai Cabinet has also approved “Affairs Jan Awas Yojana 2025” to provide cheap plots to the people of low and middle income class in the poetry area. Under the affordable Jan Awas Yojana 2025, people will be able to get plots available in streamlined colonies and illegal plotting will also be banned.
Kalagram to be built in Nawa Raipur
In order to promote the art and culture of Chhattisgarh state, the cabinet decided to make 10 acres of land free of cost to the Culture Department in Nawa Raipur Atal Nagar to establish Kalagram in the state and pay the reimbursement amount against the said land to the Nawa Raipur Atal Municipal Development Authority.
Chhattisgarh Yuva Ratna Samman will be organized
The Sai Cabinet has decided to start the Yuva Ratna Samman Yojana to honor people and organizations who have done remarkable work in various fields of youth welfare in the state. Under this scheme, people or voluntary organizations who work extraordinary and specialized in the field of youth welfare will be awarded the Chhattisgarh Youth Ratna Samman. In this, the youth will be given a medal, certificate, shawl and a maximum of Rs 2.50 lakh, while the institution will be given a prize money of Rs 5 lakh.
Youth Ratna Samman will be provided in the fields of social, literature, innovation, education, sports, environment, women and child development, media, health, science and technology, disabled empowerment, art-music and folk art in the state. Youth Ratna Samman will be provided every year to one youth selected for outstanding work in the above areas. Which includes medals, medal certificates, shawls and maximum of one lakh rupees. This honor will be given only to women and girls for outstanding work in the field of women and child development.
Approves home-stay policy to promote tourism
The aim of the Homestay Policy is that tourism should be promoted in the villages of Chhattisgarh and especially in Bastar and far-flung areas of Surguja. This gives new employment opportunities to the youth there. Through homestay, tourists will get special experience related to the culture, art, craft and nature of the village, as well, this will directly benefit the people living in the villages and increase their income. In a way, it will prove to be important in achieving the goal of Okal for Local and the development of rural tourism in the country.
