America-China Trade War: What is the case?
The Trump government had earlier imposed heavy tariffs on steel and aluminum. After this, 145% tax was imposed on China, on which China also imposed 125% counter -tax. Since then, there has been a constant trade tension between the two countries.
90 -day deal was done, but the problem remains intact
On May 12, a 90 -day temporary deal was signed between the two countries. In this, the US reduced the tax on Chinese goods from 145% to 30% and China reduced the tax on US goods from 125% to 10%. But this agreement was limited to tax only.
