Kiran beyi on b dayananda suspension: Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi said on Saturday (June 7, 2025) regarding the stampede case at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, that the suspension of Police Commissioner B Dayanand is not rational and justified. He has strongly condemned this action on behalf of the Police Association.
Talking to NDTV, Bedi said that every matter of law and order is unique. We need someone who can explain about this whole matter, he should be heard. He asked the question and asked whether the commissioner ignored everyone? How can you question only the commissioner? This is wrong, they have not worked separately.
‘This suspension order like throwing fly out of milk’
Kiran Bedi said, ‘Any suspension that is not rational, justified or clear is the morale of the entire police force. This suspension order is like throwing fly from milk. You need to find out if there is a herd of flies.
The former IPS officer said that the people of Bangalore do not even know who played the role in controlling the crowd gathered outside the stadium. He said that B Dayanand did not work alone, it included the entire headquarters, secretariat and political leadership.
