Aasim munir on pakistan: When Muslims from all over the world were celebrating the festival of sacrifice and brotherhood, Pakistan once again politicized this religious occasion. Putting the intention of occupation of Kashmir and the anti-India agenda, Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir visited the Line of Control (LOC) and met the soldiers stationed there and airing the Kashmir issue.
Target India on the pretext of LOC tour
General Munir congratulated his soldiers on Loc on Eid and praised his “morale and vigilance”. According to ISPR, the media branch of the Pak Army, during this time he referred to the clashes on the recent border and claimed that the Pakistani army had given a befitting reply to India. Munir became his mouth Mian Mittu and told the soldiers that during the military action, Pakistan has won against India.
Pakistan again used Kashmir issue
General Munir once again chased Kashmir raga on this occasion. He said that Pakistan will continue to support the ‘justified struggle’ of the Kashmiri people and this issue should be resolved according to the proposals of the United Nations and the aspirations of the people there. This statement is part of Pakistan’s strategy of permanent foreign policy, which includes playing the card of religious or political, Kashmir on every occasion.
Pakistan again expose
This is not the first time that Pakistan has politicized Kashmir on a festival like Eid. Whenever Pakistan struggles with internal crisis, global pressure or financial troubles, it uses Kashmir to divert the attention of the world.
India’s clear message: Kashmir was ours, and will remain
India has already made it clear many times that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral and inseparable parts of India. It has also been said by India that Pakistan has no right to interfere in India’s internal affairs. In international forums too, India’s stance is now getting more support and Pakistan’s claims are being ignored.
India took action
On April 22, 26 tourists lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. After this, India carried out attacks like surgical strikes on POK and terrorist bases in Pakistan on 7 May. There was a round of tension and military clashes on the border for four days, after which it was agreed to reduce tension in DGMO level conversation on May 10.
