Australian player Glenn Maxwell, who is in Punjab Kings, got an unwanted record in the IPL. He has become the most ‘duck’ out of IPL history.
Glenn Maxwell has been dismissed for a total of 19 times in the IPL, which is the highest. Maxwell was lbw out by Gujarat Titans spinner Sai Kishore. However, if he had taken a review, he would have survived. Actually the ball was missing the stump. Well, now the unwanted record of being dismissed for the most times in the IPL has been recorded in his name.
Rohit Sharma is at number two in the list, who has made Mumbai Indians 5 times champions under his captaincy. Rohit Sharma has been dismissed for 18 times in the IPL for 18 times. He was dismissed for the 18th time in the first match of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025.
Former RCB player Dinesh Karthik has also been dismissed for 18 times in the IPL. Apart from RCB, he has played for Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL.
Indian spinner Piyush is at number four in the Chawla list, he has returned to the pavilion 16 times in the IPL without opening an account. Chawla has played in the IPL for Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings (East Kings XI Punjab), Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings.
In IPL 2025, Kolkata Knight Riders Player Sunil Narayan is the fifth batsman to be dismissed for zero in the IPL. He plays in an aggressive manner while starting the innings for KKR, but many times he gets out early in the process of playing fast. Narayan has been out ‘Duck’ in a total of 16 times in the IPL. Narayan has played only for KKR in IPL.
