Meghalaya couple missing: There has been a big disclosure in the case of the murder of King Raghuvanshi of Indore, who went to celebrate Shillong Honeymoon of Meghalaya. His wife Sonam Raghuvanshi has been caught from Kashi Dhaba in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. She is accused of killing her husband. Sonam Raghuvanshi herself reported being in Ghazipur.

According to the police and the staff of the dhaba, Sonam asked the owner of the crying dhaba to give the phone, talk at home. He called his brother and said that he is in Ghazipur, UP. They should be taken from there. His brother told the housemaker and also informed the police. Shillong police informed the Ghazipur police about this. The owner of the dhaba also informed the Ghazipur police. Sonam is here. Ghazipur police reached there again. Then the Meghale police claimed arrest. Now Meghalaya Police will interrogate Sonam Raghuvanshi.

What did Meghalaya Police say?

Meghalaya Police has said that Sonam killed her husband Raja. Raja and his wife Sonam went missing on May 23 in Nongariat village in Sillong’s Sohra area a few hours after leaving a ‘Homestay’. The king’s body was found in a ditch 20 km from the village on June 2.

Police said that three other people along with Sonam have been arrested. One accused was arrested from Uttar Pradesh and two other accused were caught by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) from Indore. Sonam invited him on hire to kill Raghuvanshi.

Raja and Sonam were married on May 11 and both left for Meghalaya for a honeymoon on 20 May. Sonam’s housemates have denied the murder allegations. At the same time, the family of the king has demanded the death penalty.
