Saudi arabia ban on indian visa: There is no ban on Indian citizens going to Saudi Arabia. Government sources have given information in this regard on Monday (June 9, 2025). He said that no notification has been issued by the Saudi government regarding the ban on the Saudi visit of Indian citizens.

However, this clarification of government sources came when some reports claimed that the Saudi government has banned the visit of Indians there. The government source said, “Temporary sanctions are usually imposed on short -term visas to avoid congestion during Haj pilgrimage, which end with the completion of Haj pilgrimage.”

Temporary restrictions were imposed on 14 countries including India, Pakistan

It is noteworthy that recently Saudi Arabia banned Saudi visas for 14 countries of the world including India, Pakistan. After this report came to light, such rumors started flying that Saudi Arabia’s relations with India are not good, so Saudi Arabia has banned Indian people from going to Saudi.

The Saudi government took this decision during the Haj season to prevent unauthorized people from entering Mecca and Madina and performing Haj without Haj permits. However, this ban was not effective on those who went to Saudi Arabia for Haj with Haj visas.

Many types of visas were imposed temporary ban

The government of Saudi Arabia announced a temporary ban for citizens of 14 countries including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh. Under this ban, Saudi temporarily banned the release of Umrah, Business and Family Visits for people of all 14 countries. Because during the Haj season, people used to reach Saudi Arabia through other visas and used to perform Hajj in Mecca unofficially.
