First of all, banks will be closed on April 1, 2025. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced not working in banks on 1 April 2025. This step has been taken due to the annual inventory of commercial banks. Apart from this, banks will remain closed for many more days in April. Banks holidays in April
- On April 6, Sunday, banks will remain closed due to Ram Navami because due to being a major festival of Hindus, worship is done on this day. Schools and offices will also be closed in many states on this occasion.
- The birthday of Lord Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism, is being celebrated on 10 April, Thursday. People of Jainism celebrate it with great pomp. Due to public holiday on this day, banks will also be closed.
- According to the guideline of the Reserve Bank, all the banks of the country will be closed due to the second Saturday of the month on April 12.
- Sunday is Sunday, so banks will remain closed.
- On April 14, the banks of the Constitution, Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, will also be closed due to the government holiday.
- There is good Friday on April 18, so the banks will remain closed.
- Due to the fourth Saturday of the month on 26 April, there will be a holiday in banks.
