Israel -ran war news: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed on Friday (June 13, 2025) that large -scale military attacks against Iran’s nuclear program were allowed six months ago in November 2024 and initially they were determined to April 2025. These attacks have been named ‘Operation Rising Lion’.
In a speech recorded in Hebrew, the Prime Minister informed the citizens about the operation, saying that the invasion was initially prescribed for April 2025, with the objective of destroying Iran’s nuclear capabilities, but it was postponed after consulting campaign matters.
Decision taken after IDF, Ministry of Defense
Netanyahu, who was excited by the success of Israel’s horrific attacks against Iran’s nuclear installations, missile development centers and senior nuclear scientists and military commanders, said that he would try to make such statements daily. The Israeli Prime Minister said, “I instructed the Defense Establishment to abolish the nuclear program in November 2024 (Iran’s) nuclear program.”
Netanyahu said, “This could not be done on the first scheduled date and on the recommendation of the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) on the exact date, it was determined in the consultation with the ‘Chief of Staff’ and the Defense Minister.”
If Iran has nuclear weapons then we will not be here: Netanyahu
The Israeli PM, while showing a paper, claimed that it was planned to run this operation in April this year. He insisted, “It could not happen by chance or for small reasons – if Iran has nuclear weapons, we will not be here.”
Netanyahu argued that Israel had assessed that Iran would accelerate its nuclear program after the assassination of Hizbullah leader Hasan Nasrallah and did the same.
