Ahmedabad plane crash: The people of Ahmedabad in the area where the Air India plane crashed, recalled the horrific moment that they first felt as if there was a earthquake or a big explosion. On Thursday (June 12, 2025), the aircraft going to London crashed at a medical college campus a few minutes after flying from Ahmedabad Airport. The aircraft had 242 people, including two pilots and 10 crew members.

Rekha Kshatriya, who has been living in that area for the last 13 years, while talking to the news agency ANI, said that she was doing her daily work, when suddenly the loud sound came. She immediately came out and ran towards the place of accident. He told, “Around 1:30 pm, a loud bang came. We have a habit of listening to loud sounds, but this time it felt as if the ear curtains would be torn. It felt as if the earthquake had come. Our house, dining table- everything was moving badly. The voice was like a bomb blast.”

Rekha Kshatriya said, “Then we came out and came to know that a plane has crashed. The broken pieces of the plane were scattered all around. The sky was filled with black smoke and high flames were rising everywhere.” Priyansu, who lives in the same area, said, “The whole area was filled with black smoke. I was at home, then a loud voice came. The fire started spreading from one building to another. It seemed as if the earthquake had occurred or the bomb had burst.”
Bahadur Kshatriya, who lives 500 meters from the place of plane crash, said, “I heard a loud blast. First there is a storm or earthquake, then people shouted and told that the plane had taken place.
He further said, “When we reached there, there was smoke and fire everywhere. Some students were trapped in the rubble and were calling for help. We took out 5 students together with army personnel but their condition was very bad. After this we found another body in the debris, which was in very bad condition.
