3 Punjabi men abducted in ran: The struggle between Israel and Iran continues for the last four days. Meanwhile, three Punjabi youths have been abducted in Iran. North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) executive director Satnam Singh Chahal has appealed to the Government of India and the international human rights community to take emotional and prompt action for safe release of youths.
Chahal appealed that immediate steps should be taken for safe release of three Punjabi youths abducted in Iran. These three youths are now trapped in Iran amidst the increasing struggle of Iran-Israel.
All three youths from different districts of Punjab
NAPA executive director Satnam Singh Chahal said, “Three Punjabi youths abducted in Iran include 27 -year -old Husanpreet Singh of Sangrur, Punjab, 23 -year -old Amritpal Singh of Hoshiarpur and 32 -year -old Jaspal Singh, a resident of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. Was trying to go to Australia via the way.
Hostage held in Iran, ransom sought
It is noteworthy that the agents based in Punjab had taken Rs 18-18 lakh from these three youths and said that they will be taken to Australia via a legal migration route. But this journey of these three youths became a very bad experience of life for them. They have been taken hostage in Iran, they have been assaulted and again demanded ransom from them.
Chahal said, “The families of these three youths are living under unimaginable fear and stress. They have been assured by Indian authorities and they are all confident in them. However, amidst the ongoing struggle with Israel, the situation in Iran has made the situation more delicate. Because the three youths abducted are not only victims of human trafficking, but now they are now fans between the two countries.”
Appeals from international organizations including Government of India
Chahal insisted on this that this is the moral responsibility of the Government of India, so I appeal to intensify their efforts for the safe return of the three Punjabi youths. Apart from this, Chahal appealed to international human rights organizations and the United Nations to cooperate for Humanterian access and intervention.
