‘Pakistan’s murderers’, ‘Shame, dictator’, these slogans have been raised by Pakistanis in America against the Pak Army Chief and Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir. Many videos on social media platforms X are going viral, which is being claimed that Asim Munir is seen shouting slogans against the Pakistani Pak army chief living in America outside the hotel. It is seen in the video that a car stopped outside the hotel and Asim Munir started getting out of the hotel and the crowd shouted as soon as he saw them. The protesters also tried to enter the hotel, but the hotel staff stopped them.
In a video going viral on social media, the crowd is heard saying- ‘Asim Munir, Tu Career Hai’, ‘You should be ashamed, killer’, ‘Shame, dictator’ and ‘the murderer of Islamabad’.

In the second video, it was seen that mobile electronic billboards are installed near the hotel in Asim Munir, on which slogans are written against Asim Munir. It is written in them- ‘Asim Munir, killer’ and ‘democracy ends when guns speak’.

Regarding the video, it was claimed that these people shouting slogans against Asim Munir are supporters of former Pak PM Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party (PTI). Even when Asim Munir’s US visit was announced, PTI supporters demonstrated outside the Washington Embassy.
According to the report of Pakistani newspaper The Dawn, Asim Munir arrived in Washington for a five -day visit on Sunday. According to the report, he has gone to America to strengthen military and strategic relations with the US.
Prior to the visit of Asim Munir, there were reports that he was sent an invitation to attend the 250th Army Day celebrations of America. However, later sources were quoted as saying that Asim Munir’s visit has no relation with the US Army Day, even though both are the same time. The US Army military day was on 14 June.
