Iran Fateh-1 Missile: The whole world is now eyeing the increasing tension between Iran and Israel. Recently, Iran attacked Israel with a hypersonic missile named Fatah-1. This missile Iran first shown the world in the year 2024 and now it has been used in war.

What is Fatah-1 missile?

Fatah-1 is Iran’s first hypersonic ballistic missile, which has been created by IRGC, a special squad of Iran’s army. It was first shown in 2023 and was used in an attack on Israel in 2024. It is a missile that attacked the ground (Surface to Surface), which is so fast and accurate that the safety systems of the enemy do not catch it.

Superfast Speed: The missile flies at a speed of 16,000 to 18,500 km per hour, which is about 13 to 15 times more at the speed of voice. It is very difficult to track and stop it due to being so fast. This missile can reach Tel Aviv for just 6-7 minutes (about 400 seconds).

Long range: The firepower of this missile is up to 1400 km. That is, it can easily reach and attack many countries of Israel, Saudi Arabia and Middle East.

Very accurate target: Fatah-1 has an advance navigation system and accurate guidelines technology. It can kill its target within a radius of only 10 meters, which makes it a very accurate weapon.

Hypersonic dodge: This missile can change its direction both inside and outside the atmosphere during flight. Its irregular path (menuvered trageter) helps to cheat the enemy radar and defense system.

Warhead capacity: Fatah-1 missile can take an explosive (warhead) up to 460 kg. Such a large amount of explosives enable it to cause heavy damage to any target, whether it is a military hideout or an important infrastructure.

Indigenous technology: Iran says that Fatah-1 is a completely missile made in the country. Even though it may have been imposed international sanctions, Iran has constantly strengthened its missile technology. In this, the influence of technologies of Russia, China and North Korea is also considered somewhere.

Fatah-1 missile- new challenge for Israel

Iran’s Fatah-1 hypersonic missile has caught global attention amid growing tension in Iran and Israel. This missile is now becoming a big challenge for Israeli’s famous defense system Iron Dome and Arrow-3.

Fatah-1 dodging the defense system

The iron dome is designed to prevent small and medium -range missiles, but the high speed and changing flight of hypersonic missiles neutralizes it.

In 2024, Iran fired 7 Fatah-1 missiles, some targeted the Nevatim Airbase of Israel. Even though Israel stopped some missiles, many missiles managed to target the defense system.

First drone and then Fatah-1

Iran, under special planning, first attacks with drones and normal missiles and engage the iron dome, then attacks with deadly missiles like Fatah-1 from behind. This strategy highlights the boundaries of Israel’s security system.

Dangerous weapon made with indigenous technology

Iran has long faced international sanctions, but despite this it has gained self -sufficiency in missile and drone technology. Iranian Defense Minister General Aziz Naseerzadeh claims that Fatah-1 can make an accurate target even without GPS and can attack one of the several goals simultaneously.

Some experts believe that Russia, China and North Korea may help behind this technology, but now Fatah-1 has become a symbol of Iran’s military strength.
