Devender Yadav News: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Devendra Yadav has launched a scathing attack on former Education Minister Manish Sisodia. They have said that they cannot escape from the Rs 2000 crore classroom construction scam. Devendra Yadav alleged that Sisodia is blaming the authorities for avoiding the accountability of corruption, while the final approval is with the minister’s signature and Sisodia was also the chairman of the Finance Committee at that time.
‘Sisodia did not directly answer ACB questions’
He alleged that out of the 37 questions asked by the ACB, Sisodia did not directly answer anyone and tried to avoid accountability. Yadav raised the question that if Sisodia is innocent, why is he silent on the answers given by Satyendra Jain to ACB? His silence cannot be proof of being innocent under any circumstances.
Why refrain from sending CAG report to Lieutenant Governor
The Congress leader said that the Congress has done the work of bringing corruption to the public in the Aam Aadmi Party’s liquor scam, DTC scam and classroom construction. At the same time, he also raised serious questions on the BJP government and said that when 14 CAG reports have been kept in the Assembly, which have clear evidence of corruption, then why are they being investigated to send their investigation to the Lieutenant Governor?
Rekha government should conduct fair inquiry into CAG report
Devendra Yadav alleged that there is internal connivance between the BJP government and the Aam Aadmi Party. The BJP is keeping reports for showing, but the investigation is not taking forward, so that BJP’s B team i.e. Aam Aadmi Party leaders can be saved.
He said that the Delhi Congress demands that the BJP government start a fair investigation into 14 CAG reports, so that the public’s money can be accurately accounted for. If Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is really honest, then he should conduct a fair investigation into the irregularities of the previous government.
