UP Politics: The Samajwadi Party has taken action on rebel MLAs on Monday and expelled MLA Manoj Pandey from Unchahar seat, Rakesh Pratap Singh, MLA from Gauriganj and Abhay Singh, MLA from Gosainganj. But now there are five MLAs on which action has not been taken. There is a special strategy behind this decision of SP, through which the party will try to help the caste and social equation in these seats. It is believed that SP will give a message through this that these people cheated the party in the last time, but still the party did not leave them.
The four MLAs who have not taken action by the Samajwadi Party include Vinod Chaturvedi from Kalpi, Pooja Pal from Chail seat, Rakesh Pandey from Jalalabad and Ashutosh Maurya, MLA from Bisauli seat. All these MLAs also committed cross voting with the SP during the Rajya Sabha elections. Apart from these, Maharaji Devi, MLA from Amethi, helped the BJP indirectly by distance from voting. According to political experts, SP has a strategy of PDA, which can benefit further.
Special strategy against rebel MLAs
According to SP sources, there is a big strategy behind the rebel MLAs that the party has not taken action. At the time of the SP elections, the deception of these MLAs will try to keep the equation by keeping their homogeneous society and try to convey that when the SP needed them, these MLAs cheated the party at a time, but despite its SP leadership did not leave them nor any action was taken on them.
It is believed that if any of these MLAs realize their mistake and they repent in front of the SP president, then the party can give some a chance to some of these. With this SP’s strategy, the party’s PDA formula will be able to present it in front of the public. This is the reason that even after the Lok Sabha elections, the party never saw a tussle in protest against these leaders.
The SP chief has already made it clear that A means forward in his PDA. In such a situation, not taking action against Vinod Chaturvedi and Rakesh Pandey confirms his message. SP has also been accused of harassment of Brahmins in the Yogi government from public forums many times. The SP chief has earlier given a message not to take action on them.
